Inventory is the number of tickets you can sell for a registration type. You set it when you add a registration type, and you can adjust it any time from the event.
Requirements: A Guest Manager account. An event with at least one registration type — see Registration types.
Set inventory when adding a registration type
When you add a registration type, the Quantity field sets its inventory.
-
Add a registration type on the event — see Registration types.
-
Enter a number in Quantity to limit how many can be sold. Leave it blank for no limit.
A registration type with a blank Quantity tracks no inventory and never sells out. A registration type with a number stops selling once that number is reached.
Read the inventory columns
The event’s registration type table shows inventory for each registration type across several columns.
- Total — the inventory you set. When a registration type has no limit, this column reads Unlimited.
- Available — how many are still for sale. This is Total minus everything already taken.
- Reserved — units held by orders that are reserved but not yet completed.
- Requested — units requested by buyers awaiting approval.
- Delivered — units on completed orders.
Available drops as tickets are reserved, requested, and delivered.
Adjust inventory
-
In the inventory table, click the number in the Total column for the registration type you want to change.
- Choose an operation:
- Add — increase the total by the amount you enter.
- Minus — decrease the total by the amount you enter.
- Set total — set the total to the amount you enter, including units already sold.
- Set available — set how many are still for sale, on top of units already sold.
- Enter a quantity and submit.
The Total and Available columns update to reflect the change.
What happens when a registration type sells out
When Available reaches zero, the registration type’s status shows Sold Out and buyers can no longer add it to an order. Adjust inventory upward to put it back on sale.

FAQ
Why is Available lower than Total?
Available is Total minus every unit that is reserved, requested, or delivered. A registration type can have a high Total but low Available if orders are holding units. Check the Reserved, Requested, and Delivered columns to see where they went.
What’s the difference between Set total and Set available?
Set total sets the overall inventory, counting units already sold against it — so the new Available is your number minus what’s been sold. Set available sets how many are still for sale on top of what’s been sold, leaving sold units untouched.
A registration type shows Sold Out but I have seats left — why?
Sold Out is based on Available, not Total. If orders are holding units as Reserved or Requested, Available can hit zero while those orders are pending. Releasing or completing those orders, or adjusting inventory upward, returns the registration type to sale.
